Book 4 (and Book 5) is on the way!
"Where is Book 4?" comes the cry--and believe me, I feel it! I consider it my responsibility to readers to keep these books coming, I know you've put faith and an investment of time into these stories and characters and I do not want to let you down. I'm not doing some George R.R. Martin thing but I did want to take a moment to express my gratitude and to assure readers that the Wine Dark Deep series is still on track--in fact, things are better than ever on that front as the first novella's success led to an agent picking it up and me working with her to expand it into a full novel!
But that isn't what has slowed me down. In April of last year my Father suffered a traumatic brain injury. He was in the hospital for six months and the care of both he and that of my disabled Mother fell on me. It has been a tough year but we are largely through it and have moved them into an Assisted Living facility. I know many of us are going through such things with our elderly relatives and my heart goes out to all of you suffering through similar stresses.
ANYWAY -- Wine Dark Deep Book 4: the Galactics and Book 5: Galactics Part Two are on their way. I decided to split the story into two volumes because it was clocking in at over 1300 pages and are currently with my editor. I hope to have them out soon.
